Our Team

Kristie graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Nursing and a Master of Education from Lynchburg College. She went on to further her education at Old Dominion University and earned a Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in pediatrics. Kristie taught nursing school for Lynchburg General Hospital School of Nursing and gained experience in the emergency department before joining Physicians Treatment Center in 2006.

Libby has 9 years of experience with patient/customer services and has been with PTC since 2011. She strives to make our patients visits as easy and stress free as possible with patient assistance, which includes appointment scheduling and initial appointment check in.

Tiphanie graduated in 2013 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2015 she furthered her career to become a licensed Pharmacy Technician. She gained knowledge and experience working at Lynchburg General Hospital and a local pharmacy before joining our team in 2017.

I began my nurisng career in 2004 in the Emergency Department and joined the BWXT team in 2018. I also work as a nursing educator at Liberty University. I am passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. I take great joy in partnering with my patients to develop a plan that leads to optimum health and wellness. I view our relationship as a partnership. I also enjoy leading medical missions trips with nursing students.

Out of all the professions I could have chosen, I am so thankful that I became a nurse. Nursing is one of my greatest endeavors in my life, I enjoy being involved with people and knowing I can help. I became a registered nurse after spending the greater part of a decade as a missionary in Asia. I believe in life-long learning and am always seeking new and better ways to help others.

I am an alum of Virginia Tech where I was a member of the cross country and track and field team before receiving my BS in Biology and Chemistry. I continued on to graduate with my DPT from the Medical College of Virginia in 2005. As a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, I enjoy treating lower extremity injuries, especially foot and ankle conditions. I head up the shoe fit clinic each month and have been a member of the BW XT Physical Therapy clinic since 2012. As a 12 year resident of Lynchburg, I enjoy an active lifestyle with my husband, Dustin, and 2 children. I also frequently guest lecture for the Lynchburg College DPT classes and am an engaged member of my church.

I have been working in the fitness industry for over 17 years. The majority of my time has been spent as a functional movement specialist and personal trainer. My passion is to assist in helping people reach their goals and to help create goals that push them out of their comfort zones! I believe if we can move well and address our ``weakest link`` then the body is capable of more than we realize. In my free time, I enjoy running in the mountains and spending time with my wife and 2 kids.

I have been in the fitness industry for 14 years, and one thing I know for sure is there is always more to learn! I am passionately committed to being a lifelong student in order to enhance the wellbeing of the people I have the privilege to work with. I seek to empower people with knowledge, skills, strategies, support, and resources to inspire to towards their health and wellness goals. I have achieved certifications in Kettlebell Instruction (RKC2), TRX, Olympic Lifting (USAW), Functional and Corrective Exercise (FMS), as well as Nutrition (Precision Nutrition Pn1). I am currently a candidate for certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach (FMCA). I believe everyone has a next step to take on their journey towards optimum health.
